It was a day of festivities and celebrations as the whole nation celebrated the pious day of Ganesh Chaturthi. And, the Bollywood celebrated the occasion by heading towards the Ambani home – Antilia. Bollywood actors like Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, The Bachchans and many more showed up and decked up to attend the celebration. Alia Bhatt: She looked exquisite as ever as she wore a floral nine yards by designer Manish Malhotra. The cream-shaded saree included pink flower prints all over and a bright gold border around the hem. She hung this over a contrasting pink blouse. Large statement chaandbaalis made for the perfect accessory to complement the whole the look.

Karisma Kapoor: Karisma Kapoor who was also present at the occasion wore a red organza traditional weave with a simple pink border and pink block printed flowers. Styled with a deep V-neck blouse which matched the border, golden embellished juttis and matching jhumkis, she looked like the epitome of elegance at the event.

Kajol: Wearing a traditional saree by architect Manish Malhotra, Kajol’s outfit bore black pleats with a stunning gold embroidered border. The pallu of her saree highlighted bold brocade work on the black and a thick sequin border to ensure it looked grand for the occasion. Statement gold beaded earrings completed her traditional look for the occasion.

Athiya Shetty: Youthful star Athiya Shetty also went to the occasion with her parents Suneil and Mana Shetty and stunned in a sparkly sharara set by Tarun Tahiliani which highlighted a kurta with an intensely embellished border and a layered organza dupatta with heaps of sequin work on it. Her accessories of choice were a maang tikka and a pretty potli.

Katrina Kaif: Miss Kaif was found in a dazzling ensemble by Anamika Khanna and looked ethereal in the orange lehenga saree. The attire featured a plain lehenga skirt which was paired with a saree-like drape. The pallu was attached with a belt that clamped her waist featuring her lovely curves. She layered it up with a white weaved dupatta that covered her shoulders. Long dangler earrings served as a perfect accessory accompanied by a matching bindi on her forehead.

Vidya Balan: Mission Mangal actress Vidya Balan also was present at the occasion in a stunning saree by Gaurang Shah. Her color blocking went correct in the handwoven Benarasi number with the stunning orange saree with an intricate gold border and a purple and gold pinstripe blouse. A gold potli and gold accessories including earrings and a ring finished her look for the occasion.
