Arun Gopalan’s venture, Tehran is an action-packed thriller with nonetheless John Abraham in the lead role. Indian audiences are sure to get spellbound once again by this tremendous heart-throbbing performance of Jobn and his image. In the film expected big octan fight sequences, drama and excitement. Its story is written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Varma, based on true events against the backdrop of Russian Ukrainian War.
Tehran Story Line and Plot
The story revolves around the incidents that happened during Russian-Ukrainian War. John described it as a geo-political movie. He says, “If you are financed in the Russia- Ukraine crisis, wonder what China is doing, what Iran is doing, where Palestine fits in the whole thing, Tehran is about all of this”. It will leave audiences stunned.

Casting
Along with John, the movie has Manushi Chillar. She is a model and an equally competent actress. We all know about John Abraham, famous for his stints and action-packed performances. He had appeared in many films in the genre, including a shootout at Wadala, Dishoom Rocky Handsome, Balta House and many others. Recently his film Attack. Critics complimented his action-oriented performances performance of John.
John’s three films are releasing this year
Besides many other projects, John’s fans expect three more films to be released, and John Abraham is prepared to take on the biggest hit. He will be seen in Siddharth Anand’s Pathan with Bollywood actors Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukon. He has also announced his other film Ek Villain 2, a sequel to Sidharth Malhotra’s film Ek Villain.
Tehran OTT release date
If everything goes well in the theatrical release of the film it is set to release on the republic day, on 26th Jan 2023. Not to disclose true incidents, but the movie makers did tell us that it is inspired by what happened during the war.
