The girl from Rajasthan was crowned Femina Miss India World 2023 this year. On April 15, a big event was held at Manipur’s Khuman Lampak Stadium in Imphal.
Nandini Gupta, who took part in the competition against 30 other beauty queens from all over India, will now represent her nation at the Miss World 2023 pageant. The 19-year-old beauty queen credits Priyanka Chopra, a previous pageant champion, as her inspiration.
Ever since she was ten years old, she has aspired to become the coveted Femina Miss India, and on Saturday, her dream came true.
Who is Nandini Gupta?
Nandini Gupta, 19 years old, grew up in Kota, south Rajasthan, one of the biggest coaching hubs in India for engineering and medical aspirants. She attended school at St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School. This beauty with brains holds a degree in Business Management. She dreamed of competing in Miss India when she was a 10-year-old kid.
About her Miss India Pageant journey:
The journey from Rajasthan to Mumbai wasn’t easy for her, as she worked hard, trained, and tested herself during the practice. In her interview, she shared that she experienced many stressful moments, but with the help of her healthy habits and positive attitude, she conquered them all.
During the competition, she talked about a great businessman, Sir Ratan Tata, and described him as her biggest inspiration. “He does everything for humanity and donates most of it to charity. Loved by millions and always grounded,” she said. It was an amazing journey of 40 days, in which other models from different states participated.
None of her family members come from a modeling background or the fashion industry. She said in an interview about her parents that they were very supportive and that it was her mother’s dream to participate in the Miss India contest.
Nandini’s adventure in beauty pageants has only just begun, as after winning the 59th Miss India competition, she will get ready for Miss World. Since Sini will be the one representing India at the Miss World pageant in May, she still has time.
