The 72nd Miss Universe pageant took place on Saturday night, November 19, 2023, in El Salvador. Former Miss Universe R. Banney Gabriel crowned Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua as the winner of the Miss Universe 2023 pageant.
The first runner-up, Anntonia Porsild from Thailand, and the second-place finisher, Moraya Wilson from Australia, are the three top finalists. However, Sheynnis Palacios emerged victorious from these finalist positions and placed first in the Miss Universe competition.

She defeated Miss Thailand and Miss Australia in the finals by using her powerful presence, which included her sense of style in clothing and her responses to the judges’ questions about each of the finalists.
In the Miss Universe 2023 finale, she wore a heavily beaded body-hugging costume. She absolutely owned a wonderful, radiant appearance, and the waistline cut-out on her created an amazing silhouette. Her accessories significantly improved her appearance, and her hair and makeup looked stunning.

Regarding the questioning phase, Sheynnis Palacious of Nicaragua emerged victorious in the last round of the competition. The final question asked to all the top three finalists by the judges was: “If you could live one year in another woman’s shoes, who would you choose and why? To this, she replied: I would choose Mary Wollstonecraft because she opened the gap and gave an opportunity to many women. I would want that gap to open up so that more women could work in any area they choose to work in because there is no area where women cannot work.”
