Well, the actor recently dubbed the English version of Ranbir Kapoor’s latest picture, ‘Animal’. A few times back Nakuul had updated his Instagram where she shared his personal experience about lending his voice to Ranbir Kapoor’s character, Vijay Singh in the English language.
He even shared a video where he showed a clip from the movie and wrote, “From now on you may call me Ranbir English.” His wife, Jankee Rarekh was also surprised to hear Nakuul’s voice and said, “That’s really your voice? How is it your voice? You’re sounding so good!”
Furthermore, Nakuul revealed that he and his team have been doing so since the early part of January. And, it’s out to release now. Good news for Netflix lovers! Now, they can watch the ‘Animal’ movie in English.
Nakuul Metha’s Own Experience on Dubbing ‘Animal’ in English
In his own words, “Spending a fortnight up close with Ranbir in a dark cold dubbing studio was only a flask containing hot water, honey, turmeric and extremely black coffee for the company has been one heck of a ride I promise you!”
He said further, “Watching one of the finest of our generation delivers this cracker of the act so up close has been both beautiful and at times painful given the playing field of the film.”
“It has felt liberating, powerful, painful, and never-ending at different points yet I feel so enriched to have had this wonderful opportunity to recreate this act in English under the expert direction of amazing @benaifermirza and the relentless @sagar.dani666 at @maykhiinsyncstudios.”
The ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hai’ Nakuul Mehta also shared that he would love to hear the thoughts of the people and the audience. And, to his surprise, he got a lot of positive responses for his performance! Many celebrities gave their praise to Nakuul’s performance.
Drashti Dhami wrote, “Woohooooo!!!!! It’s just wow.” Shrenu Parikh said, “This is sooooooo cool,” and so on the compliments continued.
