Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah’s recent movie ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ completed its first weekend on a good note. The movie got many positive reviews from the audience and made an impressive 50 crores in just three days. It made it to the theaters on February 9, 2024.
The movie starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon has a great weekend at the worldwide box office. In India, the movie grossed around Rs. 32 crores and added Rs. 18 crores from overseas with North America.
This movie is the third-highest weekend total for Shahid Kapoor after movies like Kabir Singh and Padmaavat.
‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ Movie Plot
Written and directly by Aradhana Sah and Amit Joshi, the movie showcases a robotic programmer named Aryan Agnihotri aka Aaru (Shahid Kapoor). Aaru develops his feelings for a robot named Sifra (played by Kirti Sanon) that is set up by his ‘maasi’ Urmila (role played by Dimple Kapadia).
Eventually, love happens and Aryan takes Sifra home to meet his family and eagerly wants to marry her. The whole movie shows how Aryan deals with the fact that he loves a robot and how he tries to hide her identity from all his family members.

It’s reported that the makers of this film broke even before the theatrical release itself. The theatrical share is essentially the film’s profit, which stands at about Rs. 20 Crores after 3 days.

Shahid Kapoor’s Wife Mira Rajput On Teri Baaton Mein Uljha Jiya Movie
Mira Rajput took to Instagram and reviewed the movie. The actress praised the film and the performances of the lead roles that both actors performed fabulously on the big screen. On Instagram Stories, she shared a still from the movie writing, “Complete laughter riot! Entertainment overloaded after ages! Love, laughter masti, dancing and heart touching message at the end. (sic)”
After reviewing the lead actors’ performances, she wrote, “@kritisanon you were Pitch Perfect. @shaidkapoor The OG Lover-Boy, there’s no one like you. You made my heart melt,” She also added, “Watch Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya now. Dil se hasaaya (made me laugh from the heart, stomach is hurting . (sic).”
