At the Star Screen Awards 2019 that was held in Mumbai on Sunday, it was in reality an extravagant affair issue as the stars lit up the red carpet with one after the other showstopping looks.

Single shoulder cuts are unquestionably a celebrity loved this season, and Deepika too showed us the best way to hang out in a one-shoulder outfit highlighting a chic cut with overstated sleeves and a mermaid fit. Alia Bhatt, who bagged away the award for Best Actor (Female) for Gully Boy, selected to go the traditional route and picked a colorful saree by Sabyasachi to astonish everybody. A couple of stout drop earrings was the only accessory she wore that further raised her look.

Black will always remain a red-carpet favorite. Kiara Advani was about oomph as she glammed up in a lovely black outfit and in a flash took all the attention. The outfit featured net embroidered detailing, a single shoulder cut with a bow detail, a flared hem and a thigh high slit that is what gave it an extra edge. Sara Ali Khan, who bagged the Best Debut Award for her film Kedarnath, was a flat-out shocker in an off-shoulder outfit that presented a chic case for prints.

Black surely appeared to be the favorite color pick of the evening as one more actress who was seen donning up black was Ananya Panday. Ananya looked each piece like a princess in a beautiful outfit by Gauri and Nainika that included shimmery multi-layered detail. Kriti Sanon was about shimmers and sparkle in a glittery, figure hugging outfit by none other than designer Yousef Al Jasmi.
