“CAT” – A set against the backdrop of Punjab Hinterlands amidst fiery drug mafia. Randeep Hooda is finally back with his upcoming crime thriller, a web series that can spill a chill on Netflix. It was earlier produced as a Punjabi language film directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua and Co-directed by Panchali Chakravarty and Anutej Singh, it is now set to release in Hindi, with Randeep Hooda playing the lead role. He is an innocent man caught in the drug trafficking conspiracy between cops, gang lords, and political powers.
The Story Behind Crime Thriller
It is a story about a hole-and-corner agent who works abroad for brain power. Things take a turn when he is sent on a mission to take the drug cartels. The story revolves around his experiences, past connections with drugs, and how he dealt with the mafias.
Whether Randeep is an abductor of Mahabir Bhai in the film Highway or Kabir Wilson in Jism, this versatile actor has shown his capability in whatever role he got. And in the CAT series, he is showing his caliber as Gurnam in a Sikh avatar, a tale of brotherhood and espionage. Randeep never fails to captivate his audiences with his performance and dynamic personality, and he has proved it.
