Perhaps the starriest night of the year, the Vogue Beauty Awards 2019 in association with Trends, lit up Mumbai’s JW Marriott hotel the last evening. Every year, VBA praises the most elite in the beauty business and has turned out to be grander by the year. Considering today marked its 10th edition, 2019’s Vogue Beauty Awards was bigger than ever before, as was the guest list. Overflowing with industry officials and Bollywood stars, this one was a night to remember.
While a few stars made their VBA debut this year, others came back to the red carpet to be a part of our milestone moment. Bollywood never fails to dazzle us with their style statements and sartorial fashion choices, particularly during certain mega-events such as award functions. This is actually what happened at the Vogue Beauty Awards 2019. Various Bollywood celebs made heads turn with their stylish appearances at the mega event.
Among the first few to show up this evening was Swara Bhasker, followed by Rakul Preet Singh in a red Aadnevik outfit. Other actresses spotted at the occasion included Shilpa Shetty Kundra and sister Shamita Shetty, who posed for the shutterbugs in statement-making outfits before going towards the ballroom to watch the awards function. Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora picked gowns for their red-carpet appearances.
The former picked a white outfit, while the latter stepped out in a black and gold Gauri and Nainika outfit. For her first Vogue Beauty Awards was Sara Ali Khan, who was seen wearing a dark Shriya Som gown highlighting sequins and lots of ruffles. Bhumi Pednekar picked white looks with a shimmery gown with feathers. Luka Chuppi actress Kriti Sanon without a doubt made a red carpet look a runway as she wore a pink gown with a thigh-high slit and matching heels.
She looked beautiful even with minimal makeup. The gorgeous Sonali Bendre also showed up at the Vogue Beauty Awards 2019. Sonali looked dazzling in an all-black gown which she teamed up with a pair of matching earrings, smokey eyes and dark lip color. As for the men, VBA 2019 saw a lot of much-adored Bollywood faces. Vicky Kaushal strolled red carpet in a paneled Dior suit, and Vogue Wedding Book 2019 cover star Shahid Kapoor picked a suit as well.
