The most-awaited International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) finally took place on June 3 and 4, following two-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 epidemic. The multi-starrer event wowed Dubai, the UAE’s capital city. Megastars like Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and other celebs lit up the red carpet and stage, while the entire show was nothing short of an adrenaline rush.
Nora Fatehi, Ananya Pandey, Abhishek Bachchan, and Sara Ali Khan all delivered stellar performances. Meanwhile, the life story Shershaah stole the show by winning the most awards. Shershaah was named Best Film, and Vishnuvardhan was named Best Director for the same film.

Vicky Kaushal topped the actor’s chart by bagging the Best Actor award for biographical historical drama film Sardar Udham. Kriti Sanon, on the other hand, won Best Actress award for her startling performance in the 2021 comedy-drama film. Ahan Shetty, the son of veteran actor Suniel Shetty, was named Best Debut Male for Tadap, while Sharvari Wagh was named Best Debut Female for her Romance/Crime Comedy film Bunty Aur Babli 2.
