The Day 4 of the Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019 was a glamourous affair sponsored by oodles of sartorial motivation. Many tinsel town celebrities graced this soiree in their ravishing best. Arpita Mehta and Anushree Reddy teamed up with Lakmé Salon to exhibit their recent bridal collection and safe to say, we need to get married just to wear one of these beauties! Style, pastels and embroidery with embellishments have consistently been Anushree Reddy’s forte.

This time as well, the designer impressed us with her very fantastic gathering. Calling for all the contemporary brides, the ensembles were traditional, culturally rooted while being modish and completely amazing. Following Anushree’s lead, Arpita Mehta displayed her recent collection, that is the point at which we understood the amount we have missed her on the runway. Hues, drapes and lehengas fused with fan-flower and Ahir embroidery, to give it a stylish yet Bohemian flavor was what we loved the most.

The model/actress who waked for both the designers was our very favorite Ananya Pandey who made her runway debut with both of them. Ananya rocked the ramp, resembling a blockbuster bride of the hour in creations by both the designers. For Arpita Mehta, Ananya donned a dazzling flamingo pink adorned floral lehenga. She matched it with a heavily embellished choli with plunging neckline. Ananya styled ger bridal look with center separated locks in dreamy soft

For her glam, she went with smoky shimmery eyes, pink lips, dewy make-up, a hint of blush and dramatic lashes. For Anushree Reddy, Ananya changed into a drop-dead perfect ornate pearl and katdana lehenga. She matched it with heavy embroidered sheer choli and a zari dupatta. She accessorized the royal wedding look with a heavy emerald choker necklace. For the second look as well, she went with a similar hairdo and we love the elegant vibes.

With dewy make-up and shimmery eyes, she glammed up her look. “My look is a tribute to the famous brides from Bollywood movies over the ages and exhibits the new hair and makeup collection from Lakmé Salon and dazzling outfits of both designers,” Ananya said in an interview. Pushkaraj Shenai, the CEO, Lakmé Lever, added the Student of the Year 2 star is the ideal dream for unveiling their new bridal hair and make-up line which is inspired by the iconic wedding looks from Bollywood films.
